LATEST FEEDS

Since March 2015 an almost finished GameBoy Advance ROM for the game "Frank Herbert's DUNE: Ornithopter Assault" has been in circulation, which was programmed by "Cryo Interactive" and, as the name suggests, plays in the DUNE universe.

This is a 3D action flight simulator (in cockpit perspective) with a voxel engine, in which you have to complete various missions. You have to transport harvesting machines to spice fields, turn off Harkonnen planes and ground units, escort delivery ships, and much more. The controls are well done, but the game is quite difficult overall.

The great thing about this is that it also comes in different languages. A few planned cut-scenes are missing but otherwise it is completely layable.

Presumably it was put on hold after "Cryo Interactive" closed its doors in 2002.
